Ukraine Claims Role as Europe’s Shield Against Russia as Drone Warfare Escalates
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a Ukrainian military commander declared on Saturday that Ukraine stands as Europe’s bulwark against Russian advances, emphasizing the need to extend confrontations into Russia using drones and missiles.
The Ukrainian official insisted that without Ukraine’s military strength, future security guarantees are untenable, leaving them with no choice but to resist.
Concurrently, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that its air defenses successfully intercepted 116 Ukrainian drones during the previous night.
The ministry further stated that Russian drone forces struck Ukrainian positions along the Dnieper River.
A Russian military source also reported that Russian forces targeted a Ukrainian border command center in the Sumy region.
