According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, police in the occupied territories were compelled to close all routes leading to Eilat due to severe flooding. The closure has resulted in widespread paralysis of traffic and movement within the region.
Hebrew-language media outlets report that the flooding in Eilat and the deteriorating conditions have prompted many to attempt to leave the area, causing significant congestion at the city’s exits.
Meteorological authorities have stated that rainfall in the Lotan region has been half the annual average.
The municipality of Eilat has also reported damages in the southern areas due to the flooding.
