Syrian Alawites Strike Against al-Julani, Protest Regime

Alawites in Syria, led by Sheikh Ghazal Ghazal, initiate a five-day strike across all sectors to protest the actions of the current ruling system and what they describe as a replacement of tyranny with another form of oppression.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Alawites in Syria have begun a five-day strike to protest the actions of the ruling system, according to Sheikh Ghazal Ghazal, head of the Supreme Islamic Council of Alawites.

The widespread strike, which commenced on the 8th and will continue until the 12th of the current month, is intended to peacefully demonstrate against the government’s policies.

Ghazal Ghazal stated that while the fall of the previous regime was intended to end tyranny, the reality has been the collapse of the country under the guise of freedom. He claims that the rulers are forcibly attempting to celebrate the replacement of one oppressive system with an even more oppressive one, marked by arrests, killings, beheadings, abductions, and destruction.

“Today, they also want to force us to participate in celebrations that are held on our blood to silence us. We demand an end to the killings and the release of thousands of military and civilian prisoners. We will not remain silent in the face of any aggression against the Alawites; we will respond with a storm,” he added.

It is noted that elements affiliated with al-Julani are preparing to celebrate what they call the anniversary of the fall of the Bashar al-Assad regime.
