Trump Threatens Ground Operations Against Drug Trafficking

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, President Donald Trump stated at an event at the Kennedy Center that the U.S. is preparing to launch ground operations similar to those already underway at sea, targeting drug trafficking networks.
“We know everything about them. We know where they live,” Trump asserted.
Trump claimed that drug smuggling into the U.S. via maritime routes has decreased by 94 percent. “We want to find the remaining six percent,” he added.
The U.S. has conducted multiple operations in the Caribbean under the pretext of combating drug trafficking, including threats directed towards Venezuela.
Since last September, U.S. forces have allegedly sunk at least 20 boats in the region, resulting in approximately 80 casualties.
