Algeria Highway Crash Leaves 14 Dead, Dozens Injured

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a devastating traffic collision in Algeria has left 14 people dead and 35 others injured. The crash occurred on a highway connecting the cities of Bechar and Tindouf in southern Algeria.
Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune has expressed his deep sorrow and sympathy following the horrific accident.
Traffic accidents are reportedly common in the North African nation. On August 15, a passenger bus plunged from a bridge in the Al-Harrash area east of the capital, resulting in 18 fatalities.
Algeria’s Ministry of Transport and Public Works has indicated that the majority of traffic accidents in the country are linked to human error, reckless driving, and inadequate vehicle maintenance.
