Slovenia Declares Netanyahu, Ben-Gvir, and Smotrich Persona Non Grata

Slovenia’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Stanislav Raščan, stated in an interview with Al Jazeera that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and ministers Itamar Ben-Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich are unwelcome in Slovenia, reaffirming support for a two-state solution.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Slovenia has declared Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and ministers Itamar Ben-Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich persona non grata in the country, according to Deputy Foreign Minister Stanislav Raščan.

In an interview with Al Jazeera, Raščan emphasized Slovenia’s support for a two-state solution, asserting the Palestinians’ right to self-determination. He added that a viable Palestinian state must include both the West Bank and Gaza.

Raščan also expressed concern over ceasefire violations in Gaza and the obstruction of aid deliveries. He further stated Slovenia’s support for the peace plan proposed by Donald Trump regarding Ukraine.

The Deputy Foreign Minister concluded by stating that Ukraine and Europe should play a role in peace negotiations.
