Iraqi and Turkish Foreign Ministers Discuss Bilateral Ties, Regional Stability

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein met with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan on Sunday at the 23rd Doha Forum to discuss strengthening cooperation in political, economic, and security fields to benefit both nations and bolster regional stability.
The ministers also addressed regional and international developments, particularly the situation in Syria, emphasizing the importance of supporting efforts to establish political and economic stability, encouraging investment and development to alleviate the suffering of the Syrian people.
Additionally, they discussed the issue of Iran, focusing on the need to reduce tensions in the region and pursue political solutions based on dialogue and understanding to enhance regional security.
During the meeting, the Iraqi Foreign Minister detailed the political developments in Iraq, highlighting the successful elections and ongoing consultations to form a new government, which he described as a consolidation of democracy and internal stability.
