Russia Urges US to De-escalate Venezuela Tensions
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov called on the United States to refrain from escalating tensions concerning Venezuela, reaffirming Moscow’s support for the Venezuelan government.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov stated on Sunday that Moscow stands firmly with Venezuela and urged Washington to avoid actions that could further escalate tensions.
Ryabkov conveyed Russia’s unwavering support for the leadership in Venezuela. He specifically called on the administration of President Donald Trump to exercise restraint and avoid escalatory measures that could potentially lead to open conflict.
Sergei Ryabkov emphasized that the current situation in Venezuela is a matter of serious concern for Moscow.
