Israeli Military Prepares for Surprise War Amid Gaza Tensions

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the head of the Israeli army staff, Eyal Zamir, stated that the military is preparing for a surprise war and must be on high alert across all fronts. He added that annual maneuvers simulate the possibility of a surprise attack.
During a field visit to military outposts in the Gaza Strip, Zamir asserted that the line representing the Israeli army’s withdrawal as part of an agreement serves as a new border, a primary defensive line against residential gatherings, and an offensive line.
Zamir emphasized that Israel would never allow Hamas to rebuild its capabilities. His statements coincide with frequent reports of Israeli forces firing upon Palestinian civilians near the demarcation line in the Gaza Strip.
In a recent violation of the ceasefire, the Israeli army announced it had killed a Palestinian individual who crossed the demarcation line and posed a threat to occupying forces in the southern Gaza Strip.
