Macron Threatens China with Tariffs Over Trade Imbalance

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, French President Emmanuel Macron issued a warning to China, stating that the European Union might introduce fresh tariffs if Beijing fails to swiftly address Europe’s trade deficit in the near future.
In an interview with the newspaper Le Echo, Macron highlighted the perceived threat posed by China’s industrial expansion to the economic foundations of Europe.
Macron’s assertive stance towards China comes shortly after his official visit to the country where he engaged with high-ranking Chinese officials.
