Hamas Official: Palestinian People Reject Negotiation on Weapons

A Hamas official in Lebanon has stated that the Palestinian people consider any negotiation regarding their weapons a red line, emphasizing the need to maintain arms for resistance against occupation.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a Hamas official in Lebanon, Walid al-Kilani, has asserted that the Palestinian people view discussions about their weapons as unacceptable. Al-Kilani, speaking to Al-Masirah, affirmed the legitimacy of resistance weapons given the ongoing occupation of Palestine.
Al-Kilani stated that the resistance will continue as long as occupation persists, accusing the enemy of demanding surrender. He further claimed that the ceasefire agreement based on Donald Trump’s plan did not explicitly call for the disarmament of the resistance. According to Al-Kilani, Hamas did not agree to all the clauses proposed by Trump, but only to some.
