US, Israel, Qatar Hold Secret Meeting in New York to Discuss Restoring Relations

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a clandestine meeting took place in New York between representatives from the United States, Israel, and Qatar, focusing on the potential revival of diplomatic relations in the aftermath of an Israeli assault on Doha.
The meeting featured key figures such as US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, David Barnea, the head of Israel’s Mossad intelligence agency, and a high-level Qatari official.
This marks the first such high-level discussion since the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip, which was brokered by Qatar.
The timing of this meeting coincides with ongoing preparations by President Donald Trump to announce a new phase in his peace plan for the Gaza Strip.
The backdrop to these discussions is the September 9 attack by Israel against Doha, which targeted senior leaders of Hamas.
