US Seeks to Ease Tensions Between Israel, Egypt Amidst Political Isolation

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the United States is actively trying to alleviate the political isolation of Israel by mediating discussions and potential agreements with key regional players.
Netanyahu and Sisi have not communicated since the Gaza conflict, and American officials have indicated that a strategic gas deal with Cairo is a prerequisite for the meeting. The US strategy involves utilizing economic diplomacy to strengthen ties between Tel Aviv and Arab nations, seeking to normalize relations through economic incentives in sectors like energy and technology, targeting countries such as Syria and Saudi Arabia.
These efforts aim to break Israel’s political and international isolation. Egypt has previously warned Israel against unilaterally reopening the Rafah crossing through various channels, including direct meetings, most recently in Cairo.
