Syrian Official: Israeli Withdrawal Only Red Line for Damascus
A Syrian official has declared that the only red line for Damascus regarding Israel is the withdrawal of Israeli forces from occupied Syrian territory, emphasizing adherence to the 1974 agreement.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Asaad al-Shaibani, Foreign Minister of the self-proclaimed Syrian government in Golan, stated at the Doha Summit that the Zionist regime remains a significant challenge for Syria.
Al-Shaibani added that Damascus is committed to the 1974 agreement and seeks peaceful relations with all parties.
Abu Muhammad al-Julani, the self-proclaimed president of Syria, also addressed the Doha Summit, accusing Israel of exporting crises to other countries to conceal its actions in Gaza under the guise of security concerns.
He further stated that while Syria has sent positive signals to promote regional stability, Israel has responded with over a thousand airstrikes and 400 ground incursions.
