Dozens of Militants Surrender to Hamas in Gaza, Yasser Abu Shabab Killed

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, dozens of militants linked to tribal groups opposing the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas have voluntarily surrendered to Hamas security services in the Gaza Strip over the past 48 hours. The Israeli regime’s radio and television reported the surrenders.
Sources indicated that the surrenders have accelerated significantly since Friday, primarily in the Rafah and Khan Yunis regions, where the most prominent armed militants supported by Tel Aviv were active.
This development follows Hamas’s announcement of a 10-day deadline for militants to surrender themselves and their weapons. Last Friday, the Ministry of Interior in the Gaza Strip told Al-Jazeera in a statement that it would review the cases of those who surrender and facilitate their trial process.
The ministry emphasized that Israeli occupiers have failed to undermine the unity of the Palestinian nation and its national solidarity. Terrorist gangs formed by the occupiers to create chaos in the domestic arena remained isolated without public or social support, ultimately meeting their demise.
A leader of the tribal union in Gaza stated that tribes are deeply concerned about militants financed by Tel Aviv, who will be eliminated despite Israel’s efforts to support them. He added that these groups aim to uncover tunnels and pursue resistance fighters, tasks the occupiers have been unable to accomplish in two full years.
Israeli army radio announced last Wednesday that Yasser Abu Shabab, commander of armed militants, was killed by unknown individuals in eastern Rafah in the Gaza Strip.
