According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, videos circulating online show the Palestinian football team celebrating their qualification for the quarter-finals of the Arab Cup following a match against Syria.
Reports indicate that the players chanted slogans specifically referencing the “resistance”, including praises for Mohammed al-Deif and Yahya al-Sinwar, described as “martyred resistance leaders.”
The football match between Syria and Palestine in the third round of Group A in the Arab Cup ended in a scoreless draw. Residents of the Gaza Strip also celebrated the victory, shouting the names of the Qassam Brigades.
