Report: Israel Spied on US at Gaza Coordination Center

A new report alleges that Israeli operatives conducted extensive surveillance on American personnel and foreign representatives stationed at a newly established U.S. base in southern occupied Palestine.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a report by The Guardian reveals that Israeli agents have been conducting extensive surveillance on American personnel and foreign representatives at a recently inaugurated U.S. base in southern occupied Palestine. Citing sources familiar with the interception of sensitive conversations, The Guardian reported the covert and overt monitoring.

The report indicates that the scale of information gathering within the military-civilian coordination center (CMCC) has escalated into a point of serious tension between Washington and Israeli officials in recent weeks. The base commander, General Patrick Frank, reportedly summoned his Israeli counterpart to warn that the “eavesdropping must stop immediately.”

Staff members and visiting officials from other countries have also voiced concerns regarding Israeli surveillance at the center.

Several individuals have been advised not to share data within the building due to concerns about the collection and misuse of sensitive information.

The military-civilian coordination center was established in October, purportedly to monitor ceasefires, coordinate humanitarian aid, and participate in planning for the future of Gaza under Donald Trump’s 20-point proposal to end the conflict.

Per the report, American personnel stationed at the center were tasked with supporting the flow of essential aid to Gaza, a crucial element of the ceasefire agreement. However, “Israel” has repeatedly restricted or halted the delivery of food, medicine, and other humanitarian supplies.

When the coordination center commenced operations, U.S. and Israeli media outlets asserted that “Israel” had effectively delegated oversight of aid entry to the U.S. military. Nevertheless, two months after the ceasefire, Washington’s influence remains limited: one U.S. official stated that “Israel” continues to control the Gaza environment and ultimately decides what enters the territory.
