Trump Expresses Disappointment with Zelensky Over Unread Peace Plan
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Donald Trump, the U.S. President, has publicly criticized Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky for not having read the American peace proposals, escalating tensions between the two leaders.
“I’m a little disappointed that President Zelensky hasn’t read the proposal yet,” Trump stated, adding that the proposal was presented just hours earlier. He noted that “his people love it, but he hasn’t read it.”
Trump further commented, “I believe that Russia has no problem with it, but I’m not sure that Zelensky has no problem with it.”
These remarks come shortly after negotiations between officials from Washington and Kyiv in Miami concluded without any apparent agreement on the latest draft of the American peace plan.
