US Congress Members Criticize Lack of Palestinian Role in Gaza Coordination

Twelve members of the U.S. Congress have voiced their concerns over the exclusion of Palestinian officials from the civil-military coordination center in Gaza, according to a letter addressed to the U.S. Secretaries of Defense and State.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a letter signed by twelve members of the U.S. Congress has been sent to the U.S. Secretaries of Defense and State, criticizing the absence of Palestinian officials in the civil-military coordination center in Gaza.

The letter warns against repeating the model of the Gaza humanitarian foundation, citing concerns that overcrowding and shootings near its facilities have led to the deaths of over a thousand Palestinians.

Furthermore, the congressional members criticized restrictions imposed by Israeli authorities on the entry of aid into Gaza, including the prevention of food, medical equipment, and fuel shipments from reaching those in need.
