Settlers Violate Al-Aqsa Mosque as Evictions Intensify in Occupied Jerusalem, 2025

Over 180 Israeli settlers desecrated the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem, while Palestinian families face increased eviction orders in the Silwan neighborhood, according to recent reports.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, 182 Zionist settlers entered the Al-Aqsa Mosque on Tuesday, violating the sanctity of the holy site, according to the Governorate of Occupied Jerusalem.

The Wadi Hilweh Information Center in occupied Jerusalem reported that over 4,100 Zionist settlers, fully supported by Israeli occupation forces, systematically stormed the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque last November.

The center’s report emphasized the unprecedented and alarming nature of the daily incursions, backed directly by the cabinet and protected by the army in the field.

During these incursions, groups openly conducted prayers and Talmudic rituals in various sections of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, particularly in the eastern area, an action seen as part of a policy to alter the historical and religious status of the holy site.

Simultaneously, policies of forced displacement have intensified in Palestinian neighborhoods. The Shweiki and Odeh families in the Batn al-Hawa neighborhood of Silwan face eviction orders from their homes, issued in favor of the extremist “Ateret Kohanim” association.

Additionally, occupation forces raided the Al-Rajabi family’s property in Batn al-Hawa, delivering a final eviction notice.

The property, comprising three residential units, houses approximately 50 people, including children and the elderly, who are now on the verge of displacement.
