CNN: US Government Developing Plans for Post-Maduro Venezuela

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, CNN reports, citing US government officials, that the Trump administration is allegedly working on plans for Venezuela after the ouster of President Nicolás Maduro.
The alleged plans are reportedly being developed quietly and with utmost secrecy, including options to fill the power vacuum, according to the media outlet.
CNN further claims that Venezuelan opposition groups have also developed their own plans for a post-Maduro era and shared them with the Trump administration.
These developments come as President Maduro previously announced that Venezuela intends to strengthen its defense capabilities next year as part of a vision called “Plan 2026.” Maduro has challenged recent US threats against his country, stating on local television that his government plans to announce new strategies to bolster national defense in the new year.
Venezuelan Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino López stated that recent threats faced by Venezuela have led the country to develop new strategies and rebuild its paramilitary force within the country.
