Kremlin Denies Putin Plans to Revive Soviet Union, Dismisses NATO Attack Claims

The Kremlin has dismissed allegations that Vladimir Putin intends to revive the Soviet Union and asserted claims of a planned Russian attack on NATO are unfounded. Dmitry Peskov, the presidential press secretary, addressed these issues amid ongoing discussions regarding potential business prospects between Russia and Hungary.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov refuted claims Tuesday that President Vladimir Putin intends to revive the Soviet Union.

Peskov, the presidential press secretary, stated that Putin has no plans to meet with Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto during his visit to Moscow.

Regarding potential business opportunities between Russia and Hungary following the resolution of the Ukraine conflict, Peskov noted the interest of Hungarian colleagues.

Peskov also dismissed allegations that Russia is preparing to attack NATO as “absurd.” He specifically denied statements made by Norbert Röttgen concerning the revival of the Soviet Union and a potential attack on Europe, emphasizing that Putin has no intention of resurrecting the Soviet Union, and that such an endeavor is impossible.
