Flooding in Iraqi Kurdistan Claims Two Lives

Heavy rainfall and subsequent flooding in the Iraqi Kurdistan region have resulted in the deaths of two people and injuries to five others in the Shoresh area of Sulaymaniyah.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, civil defense authorities in Iraqi Kurdistan have confirmed that two individuals died and five others were injured due to flooding in the Shoresh region of Sulaymaniyah.
Spokesman for the Civil Defense Directorate, Sarkawt Karash, stated that a school wall collapsed due to the severe flooding, leading to the death of one citizen.
The two fatalities included a 70-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman, both residents of Shoresh in Chamchamal, according to the Iraqi official.
