UK Imposes New Sanctions on Russia Amid Rising Tensions

The UK government has announced a new round of sanctions against Russia, citing what it describes as unsubstantiated pretexts, escalating tensions between the two nations. The latest measures target individuals and entities allegedly linked to cyber activities and geopolitical strategy.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the British government declared on Tuesday its decision to impose further sanctions on Russia, citing dubious justifications.
Reuters reports that the UK has added seven new entries to its sanctions list targeting Russia.
London has also included two additional anti-Russia measures to its cyber sanctions roster.
According to RIA Novosti, the UK Treasury Department stated that the sanctions also extend to Alexander Dugin, a Russian political scientist, and his Center for Geopolitical Studies.
