Khaled Meshaal: Gaza Must Be Governed by Palestinians
Khaled Meshaal, the head of Hamas abroad, stated in an interview with Al Jazeera that providing aid to Gaza is essential to reaching the next stage of ending the war, emphasizing that Gaza should be governed by Palestinians.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Khaled Meshaal, head of Hamas abroad, told Al Jazeera that delivering aid to Gaza is crucial and is what the movement’s leadership seeks.
He added that providing aid to Gaza is essential to move to the second phase of the agreement, which is ending the war.
Meshaal stated that the danger comes from the Zionist regime, not from Gaza, adding that Gaza should be governed by Palestinians who should make decisions about Gaza.
In a video message on Sunday, Meshaal said that the resistance in Gaza will not lay down its weapons and will not accept any external supervision, including the deployment of international forces in the Gaza Strip.
