Russia Condemns UK Sanctions Against Dugin as Crossing a Red Line

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has strongly criticized the UK’s decision to impose sanctions on Russian political scientist Alexander Dugin and his Center for Geopolitics, labeling it a “crossing of a red line.”
Zakharova stated that the UK previously supported terrorists and is now persecuting victims of terrorism.
The British government announced new sanctions against Russia on Tuesday, citing specious reasons, adding seven new cases to the Russia sanctions list, according to reports.
London also added two more anti-Russian cases to its list of cyber sanctions.
Alexander Gilyevich Dugin and the Center for Geopolitical Expertise he founded were included in these sanctions.
The sanctions against Dugin are based on claims that he and his organization are involved in “destabilizing Ukraine” by promoting policies and actions that “undermine or threaten the territorial integrity, sovereignty, or independence of Ukraine.”
