Zelensky Acknowledges Ukraine’s Inability to Reclaim Crimea

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Kyiv currently lacks the capability to retake the Crimean Peninsula, citing insufficient support. The peninsula rejoined Russia in March 2014 following a referendum.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has admitted that Ukraine does not currently possess the means to recapture the Crimean Peninsula.
Zelensky stated explicitly, “We do not have the ability to do this today. We are not supported enough for this.”
The Crimean Peninsula was reintegrated into Russia after a referendum held in March 2014.
U.S. President Donald Trump claimed in an interview with Politico magazine that Barack Obama, not Joe Biden, was responsible for compelling Ukraine to cede the Crimean Peninsula to Russia.
