UN Rejects Any Alteration to Gaza Borders Amid Israeli Claims

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the United Nations has strongly opposed any modifications to the borders of Gaza.
Speaking at a daily press briefing on Tuesday, UN Spokesman Stephane Dujarric addressed questions concerning remarks made by Eyal Zamir, Chief of Staff of the Israeli regime’s army. Zamir had previously stated that a ‘yellow line’ would define a new border for the Gaza Strip, describing it as an ‘advanced defense line for settlements and a line of attack.’
Dujarric emphasized that such statements contradict both the spirit and the text of the peace plan presented by U.S. President Donald Trump.
He clarified that the United Nations recognizes only the existing borders between Gaza and the territories occupied by the Israeli regime, and not the ‘yellow line’.
Reports indicate that the ‘yellow line’ refers to the line to which the Israeli regime’s army retreated during the initial phase of implementing Trump’s plan to end the conflict against Gaza.
