Erdogan Condemns Ongoing Crimes in Gaza and Occupied Palestinian Territories

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey issued a statement on Wednesday, coinciding with the International Human Rights Day, decrying the continuous crimes in Gaza and the occupied Palestinian territories.
Erdogan highlighted the killing of over 70,000 people in Gaza, asserting that it starkly demonstrates the profound damage inflicted upon the values outlined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
“Unfortunately, despite all the efforts of the international community, the crimes we face in Gaza and the occupied Palestinian territories continue,” Erdogan stated.
He further emphasized that achieving a just and lasting peace in Gaza necessitates the reinforcement of the ceasefire and the implementation of a two-state solution.
Erdogan also pointed out that Israel continues to display lawlessness and disregard for established norms, citing attacks since October 11 that have resulted in the deaths of at least 370 Palestinians and the violation of the ceasefire. He stressed the critical importance of increased international pressure on Israel to prevent Gaza from being drawn back into further conflict.
