Maduro Declares Venezuela Ready to Defend Against U.S. ‘Empire’
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, addressing supporters in Caracas, asserted that Venezuela stands ready to “break the teeth” of the North American empire if necessary.
Maduro emphasized that the ruling party in Venezuela is the only force capable of ensuring peace and stability within the nation. His remarks coincide with recent actions by the United States involving the seizure of a Venezuelan oil tanker near the Venezuelan coast, which Maduro denounced as illegal.
“The current stage is not a time for doubt or fear, but a time for courage and battle,” Maduro stated. He also highlighted the crucial role of rural communities and popular movements in resisting external pressures, stating they would take up arms to defend the country against any invading empire.
