Russia Demands Explanation from U.S. on Seizure of Venezuelan Tanker

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has demanded that the United States explain the seizure of a Venezuelan oil tanker.
Speaking in Moscow, Lavrov stated that Russia expects Washington to provide documentation that led to the tanker’s seizure near the coast of Venezuela.
Regarding Ukraine, Lavrov asserted that Russia had presented its proposals for collective security guarantees to the U.S. He emphasized that Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson belong to Russia and are an integral part of the country under its constitution. He further warned that any European peacekeeping force in Ukraine would immediately become a legitimate target.
Lavrov also stated, “We have no intention of attacking Europe or NATO, and we are ready to prove this legally.”
