Hamas Condemns Bolivia’s Resumption of Diplomatic Ties with Israel

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Hamas issued a statement today denouncing the Bolivian government’s decision to resume diplomatic ties with the “criminal Zionist regime.” The Islamic Resistance Movement criticized the reversal of the previous government’s “honorable action” of cutting ties following alleged Israeli “genocide” against Palestinians in Gaza.
Hamas urged Bolivia not to become complicit in rehabilitating the image of the “criminal Zionist regime” and its Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu. The organization called on Bolivia to uphold its historical stance in support of the Palestinian people’s cause and their struggle for freedom and independence.
The statement reiterated a call for all countries and international organizations to continue isolating Israel and holding it accountable for its alleged crimes against Palestinians and its violations of international law and humanitarian values.
Bolivia and Israel officially announced on Monday that they would re-establish relations and reopen their respective embassies.
