Hamas Warns Gaza on Brink of Humanitarian Catastrophe

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem warned that the Gaza Strip is on the verge of a real humanitarian disaster due to severe cold and flooded housing centers caused by heavy rains.
Qassem highlighted the death of a child due to the low temperatures as evidence of the ongoing humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza.
The Hamas spokesperson further stated that the Zionist occupation regime continues to prevent the real reconstruction of Gaza and has intensified the siege, turning the effects of the cold wave into part of the genocidal war against the people of Gaza.
Hazem Qassem called on the mediators and guarantor countries of the ceasefire agreement to exert real and effective pressure on the occupiers to immediately begin the reconstruction of Gaza.
He urged Arab and Islamic countries, the Arab League, and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to take immediate and serious action to save Gaza from the disastrous situation resulting from years of destruction.
The Hamas spokesperson emphasized that the situation in Gaza requires collective responsibility, and the region needs practical action, not just statements.
