Iranian, Russian Presidents Meet in Turkmenistan Amid Strategic Partnership Talks
President Masoud Pezeshkian of Iran met with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, on the sidelines of an international peace and trust summit to discuss bilateral relations and strategic cooperation.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, President Masoud Pezeshkian of Iran and President Vladimir Putin of Russia convened in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan, during an international summit focused on peace and trust. The leaders engaged in discussions concerning various bilateral matters.
During the meeting with Putin, Pezeshkian stated, “We appreciate Russia’s support for Iran in the international arena. We are determined to implement the comprehensive agreement on strategic partnership with Russia.”
