Arab and Islamic Nations Unite to Support UNRWA and Gaza Residents

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the ministers condemned the Israeli military’s raid on UNRWA’s office in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of Jerusalem, calling it an unacceptable escalation and a clear violation of international law.
The joint statement reiterated that UNRWA’s role in assisting Palestinian refugees and the broader Palestinian population is irreplaceable. They emphasized their support for the international body in its mission to distribute aid throughout the Gaza Strip.
The foreign ministers of Egypt, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Pakistan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar also jointly expressed concerns last week regarding statements made by Israeli officials. These statements suggested that the Rafah crossing would be opened only towards Egypt, potentially forcing Gazan residents into the country.
