Gaza Children Face Life-Threatening Conditions Amid Cold, Disease, and Malnutrition: UNICEF

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has issued a warning that Palestinian children in the Gaza Strip are at increased risk of disease, severe malnutrition, and the impact of cold weather due to deteriorating humanitarian conditions. Urgent humanitarian aid, including warm clothing and shelter, is critically needed to prevent further loss of life.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, UNICEF reports a heightened risk of disease among Palestinian children in the Gaza Strip, exacerbated by dire humanitarian conditions and harsh weather.

UNICEF emphasized the urgent need for humanitarian assistance, particularly warm clothing and tents for shelter. Delays in delivering aid could prove fatal for children as temperatures drop.

A recent UNICEF assessment revealed that approximately 9,300 Palestinian children under the age of five are suffering from severe malnutrition in the Gaza Strip.
