Israel Reinforces Border with Jordan Amid Fears of Anti-Zionist Operations

The Israeli military has redeployed forces to its border with Jordan and reactivated military bases that had been dormant since the 1994 peace agreement, according to reports. This move comes amid heightened concerns of potential anti-Zionist operations originating from Jordanian territory.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Israeli army is bolstering its presence along the Jordanian border due to fears of anti-Zionist attacks. The Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper reports that this unprecedented alert level follows an internal assessment after Operation Al-Aqsa Storm.
Since the peace treaty with Jordan was signed in 1994, Israel had gradually vacated 46 military outposts along the border. However, following the Al-Aqsa Storm operation, a special “Red Team” was formed to evaluate the possibility of anti-Zionist actions from other fronts. This team concluded that the eastern border with Jordan could be a potential vulnerability.
