IDF Conducts Operations Near Quneitra, Southern Syria

Israeli forces conducted operations in the southern Syrian region of Quneitra, establishing checkpoints and conducting house searches, according to Syrian sources.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Israeli military forces have reportedly initiated new operations in the vicinity of Quneitra, located in southern Syria. Citing information from SANA, Syrian sources reported the movements of the Israeli military in the area.

The Syrian sources indicated that Israeli soldiers, using ten military vehicles, entered the Sayda al-Hanout area in southern Quneitra and proceeded to set up a checkpoint. Furthermore, they reportedly conducted searches of residential properties in the area.

These sources also mentioned resistance from local residents to the distribution of Israeli aid following the military’s arrival in the region.

Additionally, Syrian sources reported that occupying forces entered the village of Ain Ziwan, also in southern Quneitra, where they established another checkpoint.

Since the collapse of the former Syrian regime, the Israeli regime has conducted multiple attacks on Syria. Recently, it bombed areas of Damascus under the pretext of protecting the Druze population.

Since the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s government, the Israeli army has been crossing the separation line between the occupied Golan region and Syria, continuing to occupy areas near Golan in the provinces of Daraa and Quneitra.
