Hezbollah Denounces Alleged US-Zionist Plot to Subjugate Lebanon
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a member of the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc in the Lebanese Parliament, Rami Abu Hamdan, stated that Lebanon is not isolated from regional developments. He asserted that the alleged American-Zionist plot aims to control the entire region with the cooperation of certain Arab regimes, ultimately ending resistance movements.
Speaking at a political gathering in the Beqaa region, Abu Hamdan said that the United States and the “Zionist enemy” are exerting multiple pressures on Lebanon and the resistance. These pressures reportedly include military actions through continued “Zionist aggressions,” political pressure under the guise of disarming the resistance, economic and financial blockades, and efforts to instigate internal strife. The goal, he claimed, is to destabilize Lebanon and the resistance, forcing them into complete submission to “Zionist” projects.
He further emphasized that the “Zionist enemy” is exploiting the sensitive situation by weakening the internal front and exacerbating divisions among political factions, particularly the resistance. This, according to Abu Hamdan, leads to the intensification of the bankruptcy crisis, the siege of Lebanon, and efforts to deprive it of its elements of strength.
