Reports Surface of Top Hamas Leader’s Bodyguard Killed in Gaza

Palestinian sources report that Riyad al-Liban, chief bodyguard of Hamas leader Yahya al-Sinwar, was killed in an Israeli strike in Gaza, along with a senior commander.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Palestinian sources, citing Zionist sources, have reported the death of Riyad al-Liban, the head of security for Yahya al-Sinwar, in an Israeli attack on a vehicle in southwestern Gaza City. The attack reportedly occurred the previous day and also resulted in the death of Raed Saad, a prominent commander of the Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas.

Riyad al-Liban, according to Palestinian sources, was responsible for the security of high-profile Hamas figures and served as the head of security for Yahya al-Sinwar. Raed Saad had been targeted by the Zionists in previous assassination attempts that failed. Official sources and Palestinian groups have not yet confirmed the deaths of these resistance fighters.

Hamas condemned the brutal attack by the Zionist regime on a civilian vehicle in Gaza City yesterday.
