Russian Forces Capture Varvarovka, Claim Downing 290 Ukrainian Drones
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Russian Defense Ministry has reported significant advances in the ongoing conflict, stating that Russian forces have seized control of the settlement of Varvarovka in the Zaporizhzhia region.
In a statement released on Tuesday, the ministry claimed that its forces had eliminated approximately 1,450 Ukrainian soldiers across various fronts within the last 24 hours. The ministry further asserted that Russian air defenses had successfully intercepted and destroyed 290 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles during the same period.
The Russian Defense Ministry’s announcement also highlighted the continued push by Russian troops into entrenched enemy positions, suggesting further territorial gains are anticipated.
