Karbela Desert Sands Unearthed at Imam Hussein Shrine During Excavation

Excavation work near the Qibla Gate of the Imam Hussein Shrine has revealed yellow sands believed to originate from the Karbala desert, sparking interest and speculation.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, during excavation at the Imam Hassan Mojtaba (AS) courtyard near the Qibla Gate of the Imam Hussein Shrine, workers discovered yellow sands, possibly from the Karbala desert.

Hussain Reza Mahdi, who is in charge of the development of the Imam Hussein (AS) courtyard, reported that the yellow sands were found at a depth of 10 meters during excavation activities.

He stated that it is believed that the sand is from the Karbala desert.
