UK Police Increase Security Around Jewish Synagogues After Australia Attack

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, UK police have announced increased security measures around Jewish synagogues and community centers following an attack on a Jewish event in Australia.
In a statement released on the London Police website, law enforcement agencies have collaborated to increase their presence around synagogues and other Jewish community gathering places.
The statement also noted that additional security patrols have been deployed in residential and heavily populated areas.
King Charles III of England previously condemned the armed attack on a Jewish religious celebration (Hanukkah) in Bondi, Sydney, Australia, which resulted in at least 12 fatalities and numerous injuries, calling it the “worst antisemitic terrorist attack.”
Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood, and Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper also issued messages of condolence following the incident.
