Hamas Claims Israel Failed to Achieve Gaza Goals, Lost Deterrence

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Hamas is asserting that Israel has not achieved its goals in the Gaza Strip and has lost its deterrence. Walid Kilani, a media official for Hamas in Lebanon, told Al-Masirah network that despite the Zionist enemy’s military superiority, it is confused and has lost its deterrence.
Kilani stated that the Zionist enemy has not achieved any of its declared goals during two years of aggression against the Gaza Strip.
He asserted that the enemy, which claimed to have an “unbeatable army,” witnessed its army’s defeat and the collapse of its security system on October 7.
The Hamas media official in Lebanon emphasized that mediators and guarantor parties to the agreement must compel the Zionist regime to fulfill its obligations in the first phase of the agreement, just as the resistance has adhered to its commitments.
He added that the resistance’s weapons are tied to the continuation of the occupation, and any proposals offered on this matter or other issues will be considered in light of the interests of the Palestinian people.
Kilani stated that among the priorities of Hamas on its 38th anniversary is preventing the displacement of the Palestinian people, rebuilding the Gaza Strip, and working to organize the internal situation of the Palestinians.
The senior Hamas member said that not a single leader or commander from the movement opposed the decision to launch Operation Al-Aqsa Storm.
