Deadly Attack Targets Hayat Tahrir al-Sham Elements in Syria
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Syrian Interior Ministry has reported a deadly attack targeting elements affiliated with Hayat Tahrir al-Sham in the city of Ma’arrat al-Nu’man, located in the southern suburbs of Idlib. The attack resulted in the deaths of at least four militants.
The ministry further stated that one additional member of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham was wounded in the assault.
Security forces have initiated a search operation in the area to locate the perpetrators of the attack, according to the Ministry.
Recently, an attack occurred against American soldiers in the Syrian city of Palmyra, resulting in multiple casualties.
Armed conflicts and internal tensions have persisted in Syria since the overthrow of the Bashar al-Assad regime.
