ISIS Claims Responsibility for Attack on Iraqi Village

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, ISIS has claimed responsibility for an attack on an Iraqi village in Salah al-Din province, which resulted in the death of a key local figure. Sites affiliated with ISIS have reportedly referenced the attack, which has caused widespread public concern in northern Salah al-Din province.
Intelligence services indicated that signs of ISIS involvement were apparent within hours of the crime. Seven individuals have been arrested in connection with the attack. Political figures in Iraq had previously warned about the resurgence of ISIS-affiliated groups in the country.
