Israeli Forces Kill Palestinian Man Holding Water Bottle Near Nablus

Israeli military personnel reportedly shot and killed a 57-year-old Palestinian man, Ahmad Shahada, near a checkpoint south of Nablus last September, despite him carrying only a plastic water bottle, according to sources.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Israeli forces have admitted to fatally shooting a 57-year-old Palestinian man, Ahmad Shahada, near a checkpoint south of Nablus in September. The victim was allegedly holding only a plastic water bottle at the time of the incident.

Reports indicate that Israeli soldiers fired 18 bullets at Shahada, with eight shots occurring after he had already fallen to the ground. Authorities later conceded that Shahada posed no threat and was only carrying a plastic bottle.

The Israeli military has not launched an independent criminal investigation into the shooting. Family members of Shahada reported finding approximately 20 bullet wounds on his body.

Witnesses claim that Israeli forces initiated gunfire without issuing any prior warning to Shahada.
