Russian Forces Claim Control Over New Regions, Down 545 Ukrainian Drones
Russian forces have reportedly taken control of additional territory in the Dnipropetrovsk region, according to the Russian Defense Ministry, which also claims to have destroyed hundreds of Ukrainian drones.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that its forces have liberated the village of Peschanoye in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
The ministry also stated that it targeted transportation infrastructure used for delivering Western weapons to Ukraine.
In a statement, the Russian Defense Ministry further claimed its forces shot down 545 Ukrainian drones and inflicted casualties on Ukrainian troops.
The ministry emphasized the strategic importance of the areas now under Russian control.
