Israeli Military Activity Reported Near Quneitra, Syria

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Syrian sources have reported new movements by the Israeli military in southern Syria, near Quneitra.
A reporter from Al-Akhbariya reported that the Israeli army has created a checkpoint on the road from Jabata al-Khashab to Ain al-Baydah in the northern suburbs of Quneitra and is inspecting passersby.
The reporter also stated that a United Nations fact-finding committee has entered the town of Kuya in the Yarmouk basin, west of Daraa in southern Syria. The committee’s mission is to document violations by the “occupiers” in the province and to listen to the demands of the residents.
Since the collapse of the former Syrian government, the Israeli military has launched extensive attacks on Syria. Recently, it bombed areas of Damascus, allegedly in support of the Druze population.
Since the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s regime, the Israeli army has crossed the demarcation line between the occupied Golan region and Syria to continue occupying areas near Golan in the governorates of Daraa and Quneitra.
