Hamas Claims Qualitative Shift in Confrontation with Israel on Anniversary

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Hamas leader Hossam Badran stated that the organization has fundamentally altered the landscape of resistance against Israel. Speaking on the anniversary of Hamas’s founding, Badran highlighted the group’s emergence during a critical period of regional upheaval.
Badran honored the memory of Palestinian and Hamas martyrs, particularly the movement’s commanders, noting their unwavering dedication to the cause of Palestinian freedom. He emphasized the continuous nature of their struggle against what he termed the Zionist enemy.
Badran pointed to the ongoing sacrifices, extensive battles across Palestine, and the legacy of resistance as evidence of Hamas’s enduring commitment. He stated that since its inception, Hamas has been active in military, political, and informational arenas to promote the cause of liberation.
Addressing attempts to undermine the Palestinian cause, Badran affirmed Hamas’s resistance to any effort aimed at fostering despair among Palestinians. He described Hamas as a national liberation movement with a comprehensive vision, deeply involved in shaping Palestinian history.
Badran stressed the importance of uniting efforts to achieve the liberation of Palestine and self-determination for the Palestinian people, expressing Hamas’s willingness to collaborate for national unity.
He affirmed Hamas’s readiness for an inclusive national agreement that fulfills the aspirations of the Palestinian people and advances the struggle against the Zionist project.
Other Palestinian resistance groups also issued messages congratulating Hamas on its 38th anniversary.
The Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement congratulated Hamas’s leadership and fighters, emphasizing Hamas’s pivotal role in the history of Palestinian resistance and its contribution to the conflict with Israel.
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine also extended congratulations, recognizing Hamas’s significant contributions to the Palestinian national struggle and its commitment to resistance.
The Palestinian National Initiative praised Hamas’s resistance and political efforts, particularly amid the ongoing challenges of war and siege against the Palestinian people.
The General Command of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine viewed the anniversary as an opportunity to reaffirm shared principles in the pursuit of Palestinian liberation.
